Our Story
Manufactured Assemblies Corp, LLC was founded in 1976 by a wire industry professional who believed the market deserved better — better quality, better processes, better accountability. That conviction hasn't changed.
What has changed: we've grown from a startup into a 64,000 sq ft, employee-dense operation serving some of the most demanding customers in aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial manufacturing. We own our building on 4 acres in Vandalia, Ohio — room to grow, and no plans to move.
We've been building wire harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense programs since 2009. That's not a side business for us — it's a significant part of who we are. The certifications, the quality systems, the on-site IPC trainers, the ITAR registration — none of that happened by accident. We built an operation that could earn and keep the trust of prime contractors and Tier 1 suppliers across the defense industry.
We're a Small Business. That means you get responsiveness, direct access to decision-makers, and a team that treats your program like it matters — because to us, it does.

Our Standards
MAC maintains the quality certifications demanded by aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers — not because we have to, but because it's how we operate.
The aerospace quality management system standard, built on ISO 9001 and extended for aviation, space, and defense. Required by most Tier 1 and Tier 2 aerospace and defense supply chains.
The global baseline for quality management systems. Covers documented processes, traceability, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
Quality management for medical devices. Adds requirements specific to regulated medical manufacturing, including process controls and documentation support.
The industry workmanship standard for wire harness and cable assemblies. Class 3 is the highest tier — mission-critical applications. QML means we're on the Qualified Manufacturer Listing.
The standard for soldering processes and materials. Covers solder joint quality, operator technique, and process controls.
Our facility is UL registered. MAC is also certified to build industrial control panels under UL508A requirements.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations. MAC is registered with the U.S. Directorate of Defense Trade Controls — required to work with controlled defense articles and technical data.
The DoD's tiered cybersecurity certification program. MAC maintains strong cybersecurity controls and access policies. ERP upgrade currently in progress to support full CMMC certification.
